About the Canadian eLearning Conference
We are extremely excited to be coming back in 2024 to our original format of an in-person event that includes workshops, concurrent sessions, vendor displays, and opportunities for participants to network. Our ultimate goal is to create an opportunity for those interested in eLearning, instructional design, and learning technologies from all industries so that we can learn and collaborate together.
With approximately 200 international attendees in years past, our conference this year will include 7 full-day workshops on Day 1, and on Day 2 we will have our keynote and concurrent sessions. Our audience includes executives, managers, instructional designers, content developers, graphic designers, project managers, LMS administrators, EdTech specialists, and more, from a broad group of industries.
The CeLC is run by a dedicated group of volunteers who share a passion for eLearning design and technology and the conference is run on a not-for-profit model to ensure we are accessible to as many learning professionals as possible.

5 Reasons I Need to Be at CeLC
- The sessions chosen for the CeLC program are specifically selected to be practical, focused, future-leaning, and they’ll demonstrate how to solve many of today’s learning challenges using familiar technology in more innovative ways.
- The CeLC conference is significantly low-cost compared to other North American events. Being a not-for-profit model allows us the affordability to host our conference at a price point that makes it accessible to all who’d like to attend. Workshops (day 1) are $395 CDN, Conference (day 2) is $395 CDN, or if you want to attend both day 1 & 2 $675 CDN.(+Ticketing service fee).
- CeLC speakers are experts in their field and will be discussing cutting-edge industry trends and learning strategies impacting organizations.
- Because CeLC is a smaller scale conference the opportunities to network with other learning professionals and expert speakers are more relaxed and intimate atmosphere. So you’ll have opportunities for conversations, getting questions answered, learning from peer experiences, and gaining knowledge that only come from unscripted conversations.
- You’ll head back to the office with fresh, practical ideas for your work and new contacts that you can reach out to after the conference.
